⛓️Mint your Passport Onchain

Put your Builder Score and Credentials onchain to access exclusive Builder Perks.

First Mint

When you mint your Talent Passport, it creates an onchain snapshot of your Builder Score and Credentials. This not only enhances Talent Protocol’s interoperability but also solidifies your reputation in a verifiable, decentralized way.

β€’ Builder Score: stored in a custom smart contract.

β€’ Credentials: recorded via an EAS attestation (coming soon).

Minting involves standard gas fees plus a 0.001 ETH fee. This upfront cost signals your commitment to maintaining a trusted, professional reputation onchain, increasing your Builder Score by 3 points.

Check the Dune Dashboard with real time onchain data.

Keeping Your Data Updated

To ensure your onchain snapshot reflects the latest updates to your Builder Score on the Talent Passport App, you’ll need to periodically update it onchain.

As an alternative, the Talent API will always provide the must up to date Builder Score and Credentials.

Snapshot Validity

We recommend that your onchain snapshot be refreshed every 3 months. Builder Scores older than that might be considered outdated by ecosystem apps, which is why we encourage users to mint a new snapshot at least quarterly.

Why a Hybrid Storage Model?

Talent Protocol combines both onchain and offchain data storage.

β€’ Onchain: For decentralization and interoperability.

β€’ Offchain: For frequent updates and faster performance.

This hybrid approach balances security with efficiency, allowing apps to utilize your data without the limitations of blockspace while still preserving decentralization.
